SBS’s upcoming historical fantasy drama “Faith” held its prayer ceremony on July 10 at the Jang Heung open studio. Main leads Lee Min Ho, Kim Hee Sun,Lee Philip, director Kim Jong Hak, as well as other supporting actors took part in the ceremony, wishing for good fortune and a safe production experience.
During the ceremony, director Kim Jong Hak stated, “Let’s all work hard and create a great piece. ‘Faith’ hwaiting!” Lee Min Ho commented, “I’ll do my best to make it a drama that leaves an impression on the viewers’ hearts.” His co-star Kim Hee Sun added, “I’m so happy to be working with such a great cast and crew, and I’m filming with a grateful heart. I hope we all enjoy filming until the last day and go through this without any accidents.”
“Faith” is another time-warping, historical fusion drama where a plastic surgeon, played by Kim Hee Sun, mysteriously meets a strange man dressed as a warrior from the Goryeo Dynasty, played by Lee Min Ho, claiming that he’s here to take her “back.” The series marks Lee Min Ho’s first sageuk (historical drama) since his debut and Kim Hee Sun’s return to the small screen in six years.

Lee Min Ho - Cast & crew from ‘The Faith’ wishes the drama to be loved by many viewers
Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee Sun, who both play the main characters in the drama ‘The Faith,’ appeared at the prayer ceremony.
The cast and crew from the SBS Mondays & Tuesdays Drama ‘The Faith’ (written by Song Ji Na, directed by Kim Jong Hak) held their prayer ceremony on July 10th at their first filming set.
At the prayer ceremony, director Kim Jong Hak along with Lee Min Ho, Kim Hee Sun, Philip Lee, and the rest of the cast and crew came altogether to wish for ‘The Faith’ to be successful and accident free.
Director Kim Jong Hak gave a short speech and said, “Everyone, let’s do our best in creating an amazing piece. ‘The Faith’ fighting!” The actors as well as the production team members cheered along with him.
Lee Min Ho also gave his words and said, “I will do my best so that the drama can be loved by many viewers and remain in their hearts. ‘The Faith’ team fighting,” and Kim Hee Sun followed, “Because I’m working with such amazing actors and production team, I’m able to do my best with a thankful heart. I hope there won’t be any accidents, and will enjoy filming for this drama until it ends.”
On the other hand, ‘The Faith’ is a fantasy drama about a Koryo Dynasty warrior named Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho), and a female doctor from the modern time Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun) falling in love, and creating a true king. The drama is set to air its first episode on August 13th after ‘The Chaser’ ends.
