On 13th of August, the first episode of SBS latest drama "The Faith". (written by Song Ji Na, directed by Kim Jong Hak) has considered to display the best warrior from Goryeo Dynasty named Choi Young (portrayed by Lee Min Ho) that for King Gong Min (Ryu Duk Hwan) with his daughter princess No Guk (Park Se Young), has traveled 600 years ahead and finding Yoo Eun Soo (Kim Hui Seon).

배우 이민호가 여심을 사로잡는 강렬하면서도 코믹한 열연을 펼쳤다.
8월 13일 오후 방송한 SBS 새 월화 드라마 ‘신의’(극본 송지나,연출 김종학)에서는 고려 최고 무사이자 우달치의 대장 최영(이민호 분)이 공민왕(류덕환 분)의 아내 노국공주(박세영 분)을 살리기 위해 660년의 시간을 뛰어 넘어 유은수(김희선 분)을 찾는 모습이 그려졌다.
공민왕과 노국공주는 자객의 급습을 받게 됐고, 노국공주는 자객의 칼에 찔려 목에 큰 부상을 입게 된다. 공민왕은과 최영은 조일신(이병준 분)의 하늘에 ‘신의’가 있다는 말을 믿게 된 것.
최영은 노국공주의 목숨을 살리기 위해 유은수를 찾아갔다. 유은수를 하늘이 내린 ‘신의’로 믿는 그는 온갖 협박(?)과 수단을 가리지 않고 그를 고려시대로 다시 데려온다. 특히 이민호는 이날 그동안의 갈고 닦은 무술 연습이 무색하지 않은 액션 연기로 시청자들을 단숨에 사로잡았다.
수십 명의 자객을 물리치는 장면과 병원 내에서 유은수를 데려오는 과정에서 펼친 이민호의 액션은 시원한 볼거리를 선사했다. 또한 강렬하고 카리스마 넘치는 최영이 21세기로 넘어오면서 시대에 적응하지 못하는 모습은 웃음을 자아내기도 했다.
이처럼 이민호는 죽음을 두려워하지 않고 세상 모든 일에 정면 돌파하는 고려 무사 최영으로 완벽한 카리스마는 물론 그와 대비되는 귀차니즘으로 반전 매력을 과시했다.
과연 이민호의 열연과 김종학-송지나 작가의 의기투합, 오랜만에 브라운관에 복귀한 김희선, 그리고 유오성, 이필립, 류덕환, 박세영, 신은정, 성훈이 더해진 ‘신의’가 새로운 월화극 강자로 급부상 할 수 있을지 귀추가 주목된다.
한편 ‘신의’는 고려시대 무사 최영과 현대의 여의사 은수가 고려시대를 배경으로 펼칠 로맨스와 백성을 치유하는 진정한 왕을 만들어내는 여정을 그린 판타지 액션 멜로드라마다.
