Lee Min Ho - ‘The Heirs’ love always hurts

[TV Report=Park Gui-yim] Love always hurts. The sad love of Lee Min-ho, Park Shin-hye, Kim Woo-bin, and Choi Jin-hyuk was aired.

In the 16th episode of SBS drama series ‘Those Who Want the Crown, Withstand the Weight of it - The Heirs’ (written by Kim Eun-suk, directed by Kang Shin-hyo, Bu Seong-cheol) aired on November 28, Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) and Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye) were separated by President Kim (Jung Dong-hwan).

In the day’s episode, Kim Tan was infuriated to know that Cha Eun-sang had been threatened by President Kim. He visited Cha Eun-sang and asked her not to leave him. Cha Eun-sang nodded and shed tears. They kissed and knew each other’s unchanged love.

Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) tried desperately to keep Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye) from leaving him. They went on a sweet date and had a good time. However, things did not turn out as Kim Tan wanted. When he attended a general shareholders’ meeting, Cha Eun-sang left. Hearing about her leaving from President Kim, he looked for Cha Eun-sang, but to no avail. The two faced another hardship.

Choi Yeong-doh continued his sad love. Choi Yeong-doh had a secret crush on Cha Eun-sang. When she was bullied by other students, she saved her. When she was shaking in coldness, he took off his jacket for her. He waited for her in front of her home to meet her. However, he just watched Kim Tan and Cha Eun-sang. He could do nothing. When Kim Tan asked him to take good care of Cha Eun-sang, he just smiled hiding his love for her.

There are other lovers who are in a sad love. They are Kim Won (Choi Jin-hyuk) and Jeon Hyeon-ju (Yim Ju-eun). Kim Won was in a situation to prepare for a marriage of convenience. He came to Jeon Hyeon-ju late at night and asked her to stay in the U.S. for three years. Jeon Hyeon-ju, who understood his situation, burst into tears.

At the end of the episode, Kim Tan shed tears thinking about Cha Eun-sang who left him. Kim Tan’s quiet sobbing maximized the sorrow of a heart-broken man, making TV viewers feel sad as well.
The main characters of ‘The Heirs’ have a painful and sad love. Lee Min-ho was separated with Park Shin-hye for all his efforts. Kim Woo-bin had to just watch his love from afar pretending to be cool. Choi Jin-hyuk could not be around his love. They are going through a long tunnel of hardships. The end is uncertain and unpredictable.

The emotion acting of Lee Min-ho, Park Shin-hye, Kim Woo-bin, and Choi Jin-hyuk is excellent. Their great acting helps viewers focus on the drama. Particularly, Lee Min-ho’s sobbing and Kim Woo-bin’s sad eyes are intensifying the sorrowful mood.

There are only four episodes left for ‘The Heirs’. How will Lee Min-ho respond to the separation? Where did Park Shin-hye go without a passport? What choice will Kim Woo-bin make? Viewers are looking forward to the next episode.
